Not Everyone Who Is Quiet Is Inactive
Recently, someone said to me:
“Your low engagement is because you donโt reciprocate actions.”
Thatโs a bold assumption, and quite frankly, Iโm not too comfortable around people who draw quick conclusions about others. We donโt all operate the same way online. I actually do engage. I comment, I react, I support others in my own genuine way. I just donโt always shout about it.
Letโs not confuse silence with inaction. Some people show up quietly but powerfully.
And guess what? Low engagement did not stop a LinkedIn client from reaching out.
Yes, despite the numbers, some people saw the value and took the step to connect.
Hereโs the truth:
Many people scroll, watch, and take note โ even if they donโt like or comment.
Your LinkedIn profile does its job quietly in the background.
One meaningful post can open the right door.
People refer you based on reputation, not your last postโs stats.
So…. NO! low engagement does not mean low impact.
Stay consistent. Stay visible. Stay valuable.
Some clients move in silence and still pay.
