My LinkedIn Not Linking — But Who Cares?
Let me be honest with you — my LinkedIn has been misbehaving. Not updating. Not linking. Not growing. I’ve tried all the refreshes, all the tips, all the tweaks. Still, crickets.
But you know what? Who. Cares.
Because while my LinkedIn is sitting there acting moody, I’ve been creating. I’ve been sketching. I’ve been designing for clients who found me through word of mouth, WhatsApp, TikTok, email — you name it. I’ve been helping people land jobs with killer CVs, turning stories into visuals, building online presence for people who didn’t even know what LinkedIn was last month.
You see, sometimes the world tries to measure your success based on platforms. How many followers? How many likes? How many clicks?
But the truth? Numbers don’t always reflect impact.
My work is linking.
My creativity is linking.
My heart is linking with the right people.
And my hustle? Very much online.
This is your reminder that a slow LinkedIn doesn’t mean a stagnant purpose. It doesn’t cancel your gifts. It doesn’t mean you’re not moving.
Whether LinkedIn links or not — you must keep linking up with opportunities, real people, projects that stretch you, and goals that scare you a little.
📌 If you’re building from scratch, keep going.
📌 If your inbox is quiet, talk louder through your work.
📌 If your “network” is not working, show up somewhere else and build community.
📌 And if your LinkedIn is acting up like mine, log off and do something that makes your gift harder to ignore.
I’m still showing up. Still creating. Still working.
Because I’m more than a link.
