December: The Month That Buried Some Pains and Birthed Unimaginable Purpose
By Ardarrh Inspiring
It started with a quiet email.
Not the kind that celebrates achievement or announces promotion.
It was short. Cold. Corporate. Unemotional.
โWe regret to inform youโฆโ
Just like that … jobs were lost.
Offices became silent.
Dreams became heavy.
Tables went empty.
Conversations stopped.
Some people were laid off.
Some people were pressured to resign.
Others walked away because their mental health had already handed in the resignation weeks before their mouth ever said the words.
December arrived with mixed emotions in its hands.
For some, it showed up as the month of shame.
For some, the month of fear.
For some, the month of unanswered prayers.
For some, the month of โI tried my best and it still wasnโt enough.โ
But hereโs the part they donโt teach us …
December is also the month of divine redirection.
The thing that embarrassed you?
Saved you.
The door that closed?
Protected you.
The job you lost?
Wasnโt aligned with who you are becoming.
The relationship that broke you?
Was never built to hold your future.
You may not see it now. You may not feel it yet.
But some of your biggest prayers were answered through the very thing that broke your heart.
You thought it was the end.
Heaven called it a reset.
You thought it was rejection.
Heaven called it redirection.
You thought it was destruction.
Heaven called it construction.
And the challenge that made you question God?
It was never punishment.
It was preparation.
Some people lost jobs in Decemberโฆ
โฆbut gained clarity.
Some people lost relationshipsโฆ
โฆbut found themselves.
Some people lost moneyโฆ
โฆbut discovered purpose.
Some people lost friendsโฆ
โฆbut discovered peace.
And the truth?
You were never tired of working.
You were tired of being unappreciated.
You were never lazy.
You were burnt out.
You were never behind in life.
You were being reroutedโฆ
to a path that finally belongs to you.
Sometimes God removes the ground under your feet
because He plans to teach you how to fly.
And flying feels scary at first.
You doubt. You panic. You search for the familiar.
But the absence of what you depended on
is what forces you to discover what you carry inside.
This is where strength is born.
This is where vision gets clearer.
This is where the old version of you quietly dies …
and a braver one is born.
December is not here to mock your pain.
It is here to reveal meaning in your pain.
It asks you the real questions:
Who are you without the job title?
Who are you without the relationship?
Who are you without the validation?
Who are youโฆ when itโs just you and God?
And some of you have discovered a version of yourself you never met before.
A stronger version.
A quieter but bolder version.
A version that prays differently.
A version that trusts deeper.
A version that finally believes in herself.
Some of you prayed for growth …
but growth required discomfort.
Some of you prayed for change …
but change required separation.
Some of you prayed for a new season …
but a new season required an ending.
December is the ending and the beginning
in the same breath.
But do not carry what tried to break you
into the year meant to build you.
Forgive yourself.
Release them.
Make peace with what was.
Trust what will be.
Because your pain was not wasted.
Your tears were not ignored.
Your prayers were not delayed.
And what felt like the hardest year of your life
might hold the strongest foundation
for the best years to come.
If this December finds you tired, confused, healing, rebuilding or unsure …
You are not losing.
You are becoming.
And remember this:
What tried to bury you this year will be the same thing that introduces you to your next level.
So lift your head.
Wipe your tears.
Take a deep breath.
Your December is not your endingโฆ
It is your transformation letter.
And the world is about to meet a new you.
