A few years ago, I used to wait for the “right” opportunity.
Job openings, invitations, projects… I kept hoping someone would see me.
But then I realised something: opportunities don’t wait for people who are unprepared.
So I flipped my mindset.
I started preparing before the door opened.
I built my skills, created my own projects, shared my work, and learned consistently.
And you know what?
I haven’t gotten “the big opportunity” yet.
But here’s what I’ve learned 👇
Opportunities don’t come to people who just sit and wait.
They come to people who are already preparing for them.
So right now, I’m sharpening my skills, building my portfolio, showing up online, and putting in the work
because when the door finally opens, I don’t want to start preparing, I want to step in ready.
