Title: The Magical World of Donald Mr. Pig
By Mesoma Chukwudi Udejiofor
Once upon a time, in a bright and wobbly world where blocks were the shape of everything, lived a very curious pig named Donald. But Donald wasnโt just any pigโno, no! He was known far and wide as Mr. Pig, the fanciest, funniest, and most clever pig anyone had ever met. What made Mr. Pig even more special was his dazzling black top hat, his perfect little bow tie, and a moustache so swirly and shiny that the birds often mistook it for a worm (until they got a little too close!).
Mr. Pig wasnโt born in an ordinary pig pen like others. He popped out of a magical cube, shaped like a mystery box, right in the middle of Toppvilleโa blocky town full of creatures with square heads, bouncy boots, and buildings that looked like stacked pillows. Everyone knew when a cube cracked open, something exciting was about to enter the world. And oh, was everyone surprised when Mr. Pig waddled out in a swirl of glittery dust and a cloud that smelled like vanilla cake!
From the very first day, Mr. Pig stood out. He walked differentlyโlike he was dancing to music no one else could hear. He spoke in rhymes and riddles, and even though he was just a pig, he had the heart of an inventor and the mind of an explorer.
โLadies and gents,โ heโd shout from the town square, standing on a rainbow-colored crate, โlet me tell you tales from the Blocky Beyond!โ
The townspeople adored him. Not just because he was funny or stylish, but because he was kind. He helped Mrs. Fox repair her leaky roof (using jelly beans, somehow), taught little squirrels how to dance ballet, and even invented a rain-catcher machine that turned water into bubblegum tea. No one quite understood how his inventions workedโbut they always did.
One sunny morning, as the pixelated sun rose in square rays, something strange happened. The sky turned a soft shade of purple, and out of nowhere, a note floated down from the clouds. It was rolled like a scroll and tied with a string made of spaghetti (yes, actual spaghetti). Mr. Pig caught it with his top hat.
He unrolled the scroll and read aloud:
โDear Donald Mr. Pig,
A puzzle awaits you in the Valley of Glitch.
Only the cleverest, kindest, and most mustached pig
Can fix the broken blocks and give the world its stitch.โ
โOh!โ Mr. Pig gasped, his tiny pig eyes sparkling. โAn adventure! A puzzle! A purpose!โ
He packed a snack (a peanut-butter-and-cloud sandwich), a flashlight made from fireflies, and of course, his lucky cube map. As he stepped outside, the entire town gathered to wish him well. Some cheered, some cried, and one very excited duck gave him a rubber boot โfor extra bounce.โ
And so began the Great Journey of Mr. Pig.
The Valley of Glitch was no ordinary place. Trees flickered in and out like bad television signals, rocks turned into jelly when you touched them, and sometimes, the ground would turn into a mirror that reflected not your faceโbut your thoughts! When Mr. Pig stepped on one, it showed a picture of him hugging all the townโs creatures. He smiled.
โI must be on the right track,โ he whispered.
In the heart of the valley was a giant cube, floating and glowing with strange symbols. It hummed like a lullaby and spun slowly. Around it were broken blocks and missing pieces.
โThis is it,โ said Mr. Pig, putting on his thinking mustache (which looked exactly like his normal one but twitched when he was curious).
A glowing riddle appeared in the air:
“To fix the world and make it bright,
Use not just power, but what feels right.
Tell us, Pig, what makes you true?
Whatโs the thing you always do?”
Mr. Pig sat and thought. He remembered the time he helped a scared bunny find her way home. The day he built a seesaw out of spoons. The night he sang lullabies to trees that couldnโt sleep.
And then he answered simply, โI care.โ
The moment the words left his mouth, the cube flashed a beautiful gold, the glitchy trees settled, and all the jumbled colors around him swirled into harmony. The broken blocks clicked together with tiny giggles, and the world felt whole again.
The puzzle was solved. But even more than that, Mr. Pig had reminded the world of something very important: kindness is the magic that fixes everything.
With his work done, Donald Mr. Pig returned to Toppville. The entire town had changedโthe air was sweeter, the colors richer, and the townsfolk were even kinder to each other than before.
They built a statue of himโtop hat, bow tie, moustache and all. But Mr. Pig, ever so humble, just giggled and said, โOh please! I just wiggled my tail and followed my heart!โ
From that day on, stories of Mr. Pig were told around campfires, in bedtime tales, and in song. Every child in Toppville grew up knowing that one day, they too might find a note in the sky, a riddle in their path, or a pig in a top hat inviting them to dance.
And far away, on a quiet hill just outside of town, Mr. Pig sat sipping his bubblegum tea, watching the stars blink like buttons.
Because in the world of blocks and magic, the adventures never really end.
The End
